Last week Soundwaves was the rehearsing and recording hub for Hollywood Records band Allstar Weekend. The band was super cool and we can’t wait to have them back. They did a meet n greet and brought an entourage of MTV and Twist magazine with them. Good luck and thanks guys! See you soon.

We just finished a 3 day lock out session with Decaydance / Atlantic Records Recording Artist Travie McCoy.
Also we are working on getting more music out for you from Mystic Haze, Justin Turk, The Tonight Life DVD, Trophy Scars DVD etc…
All the bands above are well worth a listen to.

Welcome New Jersey Rock Band Mystic Haze! Yesterday Mystic Haze began recording their EP at soundwaves. So far the drum sounds are great, on to the other instruments.
Justin Turk’s debute EP is well under way. Producer Thomas Stratton has already begun the mixing process and Justin will be back in our studio this Thursday January 3, 2011.
Clean Sheep Mastered Songs have arrived and are slowly hitting the internet, make sure you check them out!
Also be ready to listen to a new Soundwaves Recording Studios reel, we will be releasing that shortly on Soundcloud and via Facebook.
Socratic has released 2 new songs that were recorded and produced here @ Soundwaves. The band will be heading shortly to perform these new tunes at Austin’s SXSW Festival.

Justin Turk has entered the Soundwaves building to begin recording his debut solo record. He will be in essentially all week, weekend and Monday! Can’t wait to see where this goes.
Today is the busiest day in Soundwaves history!
We have a full day of Lessons for two instructors, so the students are coming in and out.
We have a full 8 hour session of recording,
And 15 hours of rehearsal time booked for 7 bands in 5 rooms!
